I'm looking for your favorite plane that you spend the majority of time flying. If you are into more than one type of plane pretty much equally pick no more than your two favorites.
For the sake of simplicity large military aircraft are in the same categories as civilian. Just pick the type (Prop or Jet).
I gave examples only for clarity they are by no means a complete list of the type.
There were only 8 slots available so I didn't include helos. If you are a chopper fan exclusively then post a reply.

I voted Warbirds, BUT i do not
feel a P-38 is a small plane!!
i like the poll though, I think
the "Typhon poll" was the whole
world to 1

I mainly fly props and vintage aircraft. I do however fly the A320 a lot. My faves in FS are perhaps the A320 and the CF-105 Arrow.

The P-38, If I remember correctly, was intended as a high altitude fighter interceptor so the role was one of a small plane even though the plane it'self isn't small.

Tough question.....
Mostly heavy jets. Some small props. More small jets. A few big props.
There's one that I KNOW the best, but I enjoy them all.

I chose big props (6+ passengers) but I am not sure if the Baron classifies as "Large" prop plane....

But that is what I fly mainly...

That has got to be one of the hardest questions I have had to answer today! I hope the rest of my day gets better. I could not choose, I wanted to select all of the above, but the answer was not available....

I mostly fly props and corporate jets. I love to get into a Cessna 421 and island-hop around the Caribbean while listening to Jmmy Buffett. It's sorta corny, but I like it.

I chose vintage and small props. Recently, I've been flying a P-51 a lot for some reason. It's a lot of fun! ;D

The Baron is on the edge but I'd consider it a small prop. For large props I was mainly thinking of airline type planes. The Baron holds 6 but only 5 of those are passengers. Ya gotta have a pilot. :)
I was particularly looking for the ratio of pilots who fly big commercial aircraft to those of us who fly GA planes. I'm kind of surprised at the results of the poll since I would have guessed the majority fly airliners from just reading the forum. It looks like that is only a close second to the majority who fly the smaller planes.

Foz my friend, I've been flying the XL for quite some time....even from back in my FS 2000 days and I am happy to see it in someone elses hangar......Like you, I also downloaded all the planes from Zenair.......I thought I was the only one to fly such homebuilts by Chris Heinz, and the reason I do it is because I actually got to meet the man at a Homebuilt trade show in Toronto about ten yrs ago.....I can't say that about any other plane that is available for the sims........
