ok, i saw some posts in the "What is your favourite airport?" and alot of people dont even know that there best forum buddy lives next door to them  ;D anyhoo, i think we should state our information here and who knows, some people will be surprised, well i think im the only sydney person here, but yeah im in Sydney, Australia, my birth place was in Istanbul, Turkey and i migrated to sydney when i was about 4. I am now 16 years old turning 17 on november 9th and i currently am in grade/year 11, my ambition in life is to become a courier pilot, and maybe progress onto airline pilot..

There's some good info on Aussim you might find interesting and PPL people doing just what you want to do and doing it now.
Aussie commercial is pretty tough to do but it's doable.

lets see, i am from bristol in the west of the uk, i was born in salisbury and moved to andover hospital the same day, i lived in middle wallop for two years, moved to canada for a further 3 years, then to portland then back to wallop for 8 years and then back to here, goals in life are to become a sucessful airline pilot or fighter pilot either way its all good.

Born and bred 10 miles from Belfast City, EGAC. If I look out the window, I can see them at about 1000ft after take off from runway 22, and then they swing left and go pretty much over this house, which is pretty good stuff. Not far from Newtownards airport, either!

Occupation? I try to get away with doing as little as possible, but when I'm doing something, it usually involves jazz, a piano, and other people, work it out!:P

I'm in southern Indiana USA. KBAK is one of the nearby airports. It's where I've flown most in RL when I could afford to fly.

oh yeah, forgot to mention, my local airport is YSBK (Bankstown) and my local intl airport is YSSY (kingsford smith intl)  8)

I was born in New York City.  At 16 yrs of age, I've lived in northeastern New Jersey for nearly all my life.  Teterboro (KTEB) is a frequent place I visit, even if it's just to take snapshots of the general aviation that flies there.  I'm going to an event at KTEB, for young enthusiasts, I think next week.  Looking into attending a university for my college years, and then attending Sierra Academy of Aeronautics for my regional flight training.
