I discovered last night that I now have 145 planes in my hangar, this includes different variations of the same type of aircraft, I thought it would be interesting to take a poll and see how full everyone elses hangars are.

i've got aprox 260 aircrafts and dozens and dozens of repaints. I've also got several hundred aircraft that are waiting to be tested

However, the last couple days i've been going through them all deleting stuff I don't want

I downloaded a CD full of zips then took a whole weekend to unzip and prepare all those which I felt I wanted at the time.......filled three more CD's with planes I can insert at the drop of a hat and fly....that way I don't have to keep them all in the sim......I do, however keep all the gauges, effects etc., in their respective folder.........
With others in mind, and the thoughts I have seen on here that 100 is a good upper limit to keep installed, we all know that for Ozzy there will be 90 Spits and the last 10% are only tokens.........I think same goes for Tempest!

Err yeah that sounds about right Ken! Especially as Roger and myself have been conspiring to build up the biggest possible collection of Spitfires in 2k2 possible!

I recently had a big clean-up and without including repaints I've got 122 in the hangar.

Oh dear. I need to get a life. 1320 aircraft folders, many of those with repaint variations, different panel configs, etc.
Now if I fly one a day for the next four years .....
I think my collectamania is nearly over though. When Jan Visser's GMAX DC-3 comes out I shall fly nothing else. You can keep your Boings and Airboxes.

Well, I went to aircraft editor, and went to "select aircraft", it's a good way to be able to count all of your planes, the easiest, and I was counting for a flipping long time! 491!!! About 100 are different 747's, meljet and POSKY, and there are about 60 meljet 772/3's, lots of repaints for default airplanes, and I was too lazy to see what the others were, mostly airliners!
