I saw the "Fantasy Flight" textures for the MelJet 777-300, and actually got the skin before the jet.
Wow! So much detail.
Is it just me or does the 777 take an unusually long take-off roll? I have to reduce the fuel load to get airborne on runways less than 11,000 feet.
But, when it gets in the air, man o' man, it takes very little effort to fly, and does exactly what you want it to do.

Do you use flaps and trim the 777 for take off?
If not, try using about 15 to 20 degrees of flaps and then trim nose up for take off. Then once airborn, retract flaps and trim as needed.....

Hey Fisharno, I hope that was my post with the Fantasy Flight 777 in Sin City over in the RAW Forum....Were you on that flight also? Hope you didn't lose your shirt like poor ol' Joe!! LOL
I have never had a problem, then again I usually fly 777's out of big airports. I use 15 on the flaps and slowly pull back at around 160 knots. She usually takes right off!!

Yes sir, Fly-man. It was. I just couldn't resist. I took some screenshots, and used a couple for a background on my desktop. I'm raising a stink in the office, now.
"Plane Envy"! ;D
I've been flying the C-5's for a long time, which I can get of the ground, fully loaded, in about 9700 ft, so I'm no stranger to making big girls dance. 15 degrees of flaps, trimmed up, rotation speed is normally at 160, but she dosen't want move until about 190-200 kts.
I just thought it was awful long roll, and was wondering if anyone else is seeing the same.
Nice shots, by the way, Fly2e. ;)

Sorry Fisharno...don't know! Maybe your plane is "weighted" down with too many women, alcohol and pockets full of money!! ;)
I will be uploading another "dirty" adventure soon!
Thanks for the comments and keep em droolin' at the office!
Dave

Yeah, baby!
Mile High Club members, eat your heart out! ;D

BTW...
I found that I wasn't trimming the 777 enough. And I wasn't using enough throttle, either. She jumps off the runway, now.
Thanks for the tips.
