Unhappy with clouds

Sometime when I'm flying, the clouds below me seem to "flicker" on and off rapidly showing the ground below. I can't stand this. I use active sky. I have 512ram and a brand new athlon computer. Sometimes  when the weather updates it self, the clouds are OK.

I've tried to adjust all my display settings back to default, but it did not help. Please help.   :'( Thanks

Hi cbxmaint,

What graphics card are you using and what drivers (version number please) do you have installed?

That's an onboard graphics chip if I'm not much mistaken.

There is a later driver set for it,  (6.13.10.1096) but you may have trouble tracking it down.

To be honest, you'd be well advised to invest in an AGP graphics card. No need to spend hundreds of dollars - just look for a non-MMX GeForce 2 card. They're very cheap these days and you can say bye to problems like the one you're currently experiencing.
