no cockpit view

Hi anybody,
I hv some problems wif the adding of new aircraft.
The problem is some of the aircraft after installing, there is no cockpit view....i can't see any gauges at all.
I only see the runway infront of mi.
Pls advice any kind soul.  :)

Hi sailfish and welcome to the forum. :)

What you're seeing means that either a 2D panel wasn't included in the package (rare but sometimes happens),  or the panel folder is the wrong place.

Check the contents of the folder of the particular aircraft you're having a problem with and see if there's a panel folder inside it - that's where it should be.

If not, I'd advise going back to the original zip file you downloaded for the aircraft and unzipping it again. See if there's a panel folder there and pay particular attention to the readme document that should accompany the installation files. It should explain how to correctly install it there.

Some aircraft don't come with virtual cockpits, so you get this. And some don't come with a 2d panel so you get this too. Try pressing w to see if any gauges come up (you might have to press it a couple of times).
If its a 2d cockpit, then you can try downloading a suitable one here from our panels section.

I hv already tried to reinstall it but still having the same problem.
I think will give a miss for this aircraft.
