Haze?

I am using FSW clouds along with Weather-Maker 1.4 and the newest version of FSUIPC to create my weather.
When I climb to a certain altitude I will look out and see a haze below that looks like fog, but it seems to be at the same level that other clouds are.  This haze forms around 2000' above the ground.  Would any one be able to tell me how to remove the haze so that it is just real clouds?  I realize that if I have the temp and dewpoint far apart, then there will be no fog or clouds.  But this haze just looks goofy sometimes.

Thanks.

Are you sure this isn't just the ground going out of focus as you climb?

Could it be your visibility is too low?  5 miles is approximately 30,000 feet so if your visability is low, ie less than 5 miles it will appear to be hazy below.

No it is not the ground going out of focus.  this is an actual very thin layer of white that is on the ground.  Sometimes it will shimmer because of antialias issues.  I am wondering if there is a way to remove this very low cloud layer or make it render as a cloud and not a thin sheet of white.

Below is what I am experiencing with the clouds.
