I havn't flown in 2K2 for a while so i tried out the new Gazzelle last night but all the setting in the sim have changed. My joystick (Wingman 4) has something wrong with the sensitivity of the twistgrip that can't be fixed so I had to turn on the autorudder in the sim, now It aint working and the aircraft pulls to the left unless I aply full right rudder >:(
any sugestions guys?

I had the same problem with my old Saitek Joystick, I fixed it by taking the case off and cleaning all the copper contacts, then re-applying a light contact lubricant, like WD-40 or GT-85. I'd do the same with the USB (if it is) conection as well, you might also try changing the port, it could be damaged internally.

I've also noticed that FS2002 has a habit of "forgetting" calibration data, I know ste up my Joystick via FSUIPC, much better!

Hope that helps!

Ric B.

Hi Craig, the only way to do this is to recalibrate the stick as Ric says. Also you can try turning down realism settings like torque to stop the problem.
Odd that you have a joystick problem though. Have you got anything else connected to the USB ports, with 2k2 I've found if you have it causes interference like there is no tomorrow! Possibly because the ports were originally designed for game pads. I've got an M$ stick now, and my flying is a joy filled experience!

Ps. Congrats on going platinum Ric! ;D

I've tried to recalibrate but no luck, and its the only thing in the port. Whats bugging me is that its only 2K2, CFS2, IAF and SFP1 are all ok.

Hi Craig,

It's not clear from your replies if you tried re-calibrating in FSUIPC as Rick suggested? Might well be worth a go if you didn't. It's a well referred to (especially by me LOL) problem fixer for controllers.

I had the same problem too.  I just recalliberated it in the control panel and it worked fine.
