Is there anybody out there that knows how to make the rooftops of buildings solid so i can land on them with a helicopter?

If you hover above a suspect landing pad and see a shadow on the roof go ahead and land there. If you see no shadow go and look elsewhere cause its not gonna support anything.

The main give away is if you can see a rotating red light on a flat rooftop, this means it can be landed upon.

1. You MUST have crash detection turned ON -- otherwise you will "fall through" all roofs.
2. The presence or absence of a beacon light is irrelevant.
3. If you fly the helicopter realistically from within the cockpit, how can you see if you make a shadow??
4. If you need assistance learning to land, visit http://members.shaw.ca/hoversafe/Hoversafe.htm

FYI...  Wrigley Field.. Not solid.  I sat it down on the pitchers mound and sank into the ground about 2 feet.  If I remember right, Soldier's Field is a little more hardy.

A fun place to practice "roof landing" is Downtown Sydney. I often fly passagers from the Opera House to the top of the buildings. Once there you can always take off using single engine plane and feel the free fall until your speed allows a recovery.  :)

Oh Gawd....you do realise that there's only one flying 225 in the world right? And you're going to drop it off the side of an Aussie skyscraper??

That's Ozzy for you ::) ;D

of course, he's not the only person to do things like that :-X

Tell me about it John. My nose was somewhere in 5th Avenue, and my tail on Broadway. I need to find a suitably angled roof and then do the maths.... I'll keep you posted ;D
