Which Taxiway

When I land at an Airport, how do I know which Taxiway I should take, I mean sometimes I go past it, and after getting progressive taxiway instructions, its a bit of mess trying to get back on track.

Wouldn't it be great if we had a illuminated taxiway sign, ie Taxiway L ext ext.

I know its no big deal, but just to make a perfect landing and taxiway to the gate would be nice.
Thanks again.

err, when you get progressive taxi instructions, there's a bright pink line that guides you, kinda hard to miss ;D

Today i was given progressive taxiing instructions that kept me in an endless loop.  After about 4 times of going in a circle I hit escape.  ::)

wait a few months and then you can fully enjoy the new taxiway signs added in ACOF  ;)

It is reported that the new FS  ( FOCF)  will have signs and light at Taxiways and RW turns.

I never know which way turn off the runway after landing. Is there a standard direction? If not, when ATC tells you to get off the runway -- before requesting progressive taxi -- how do you know when and where? It's annoying to have to make 180 degree turns to get on the progressive taxi line. And why can't the aircraft make tighter turns? It's bad when I have to go over the grass.  ;D

problem is in the real world pilots are given all the info before landing including which taxiway to turn on to(this has actually happend to me on my last flying lesson we were actually told where to turn off and it just happend to be right at the other end of runway so we had to land over halfway down it) hopefully they will give all these things in ACOF and then you can just check it on the jep charts.
