1) On two aircraft that I have downloaded, some of the textures are black, i.e wings and fuselage. Does this mean I need to upgrade me graphics card or just corrupt textures?
I've come across this particular problem with certain aircraft on various systems, not only in FS2002. I think this is most likely caused by incompatabilty of some texture formats with certain video cards. It can sometimes be fixed by converting the textures to a different format. Make sure you have the latest drivers for all your hardware, especially the video card. Also try installing DX 9 from the M$ site.
2) I have used the TaxiSpeed prgram to fix the taxi speed of the AI, but it doesnt work when the aircraft are on the apron! Anyone know whats going on?
I did check out a utility for changing the taxy speed of AI aircraft but forget the name. It seemed to work fine for me but I don't have much use for it.
