I am playing Flight Simulator 2002 and I fly the Boeing 747 over Iraq and I am being shot down everytime, with a warning flashing on the screen "You are in restricted airspace; abort your heading or you will have a mishap."

I'm wondering if there is anyway I can posibly fly through Turkey and bypass Iraq all together?

But really, the problem with the lines and blips are true.

I only wish there were some anti-aircraft fire in areas.  Let them try shooting ME down!

LOL, let them try me. He he, we kinda figured it was a lie because anti-aircraft missiles don't exist in FS. No possible way

Seriously, though, it would be interesting if AI intercepted one's plane when one violated restricted airspace (I had this thought when I was following the thread about Camp David last week).

I think that's one of the shortcomings of ATC in 02.  I have no problems landing at military bases but if I squawk 7500 (hijacked), 7600 (radio dead) or 7700 (emergency) it completly ignores me.  It would be nice to see all these things fixed in 04.
