Runway in site

hi dats me again,long time no posts buh  i ve been readin urs  

N finaly i got question of mah own !!
When flying IFR ATC says report runway in site but wat if i have foggy weather n dont have runway in site until de very very end before touch down !!!
Usualy i just turn on de ILs buh ATC tells me to turn on heading dat they are giving !!
What should I do ??

Are you requesting the visual approach on your approach? That's the most likely reason they'll be asking you if you have the runway in sight. And if you don't, well, don't use the visual approach!

Try using just a standard ILS approach.
