Hi everybody, I wanted to ask, can you use different Panels on any aircraft ie. Use a 767 Panel for a 747 and vice versa, ( 2 engined & 4 engined) I mean will it effect the performance in anyway?

Thanks again...Tomcat61

It isn't advisable.

If you put a four engined jet panel into a 2 engined jet aircraft, FS2002 will simply ignore all controls and gauges relating to the missing engines.

If however you put a 2 engined panel into a four engined aircraft, you'll have no control over, or readouts for, engines 3 and 4.

Worst case scenario is putting a jet panel into a propellor aircraft or vice versa. FS2002 will totally ignore any actions you take with the engine controls and the bulk of the engine gauges won't work.

There are specific `hooks` to gauges and switches in FS2002 which link them to the effects that they have on the aircraft, and different types of engines have different hooks.
