Actually, go to
www.tradeip.com. If you host a game, it will detect your IP address and post it with your mulitplayer session. You can e-mail your friends and tell them ahead of time when and where. When they go to the posting they'll copy your IP, join your session and 'BANG' you're in there!
If you're going to run a Com program like Roger Wilco, you'll need to post that IP, if it's different.
From the main Simviation page, there's a link to the multiplayer pages. (Actually the same site.)
I was very much involved with multiplayer, using FS2000, but haven't had the opprotunity to use it with FS2002.
