No Smoking & Seat Belt Switch

Postby Tomcat61 » Tue Mar 04, 2003 11:04 pm

Hi All, on the 747-400 cockpit, next to the Thrust Levers is the switches for Seat Belt & No Smoking , I switch them on and off, but was wondering if there should be the sound of the gong, and ifnot, is there a download somewhere, as I feel this would give it a realistic feel.
Cheers...Tomcat61

No gong on the default 747 I'm afraid.

The only way I know that you could achieve this would be to get hold of different switch gauges from another aircraft, and add them to your main panel perhaps.

You must be using a 3rd party panel, as i've never seen those switches on a default panel

PSS has a great panel and sounds for the 747 and 777.  You have to purchase the 747 and 777 base pack which has the aircraft models and such.  They are not as good as Posky or MelJet, but the panel and sounds are worth it because you can place it in with the Posky and Meljet aircraft.  Just my 2 cents.....

I am currently flying an Boeing 737 chrome American airline plane and I downloaded this 3rd party panel that has that gong for the no smoking and seatbelt switch. It also has another feature that may be of interests to you (Since I see you like pushing switches ;D) it has these Cabin Announcer buttons that gives you voice overs of the Captain speaking to the passengers on the plane and the Stewardess giving the safety instructions as you taxi to the runway and during flight!

I will go look for the panel and give you the link! Get back to you in a quicky!

:oFound it!  ;D

FS2002 Panels Page 9

FS2002 B737-800 Panel by Mario Coelho.

Get yourself the Boeing 737 American Airline jet and delete the default panel and install this one. Follow the instructions on installing the Crew Announcement panel! On the upper right section of the cockpit you will find 10 buttons to push that give different speaches. the file tells you when to push each button during your flight to fit the situation!

It's an old panel, But it looks fine once you take the Yoke (shift+3), the hud (shift+4) and the Hud display (Shift +8) out of the cockpit veiw. you will find the GPS under (Shift+7) the Throttle controls under (shift+9) and the Radio stack (if you use this) under (Shift+2)

Have fun with this one it gives FS2002 a more realistic feel!
