flaps

everytime I engage the flaps during descent, the nose pitches up.How do i control this.Also during acscent, when the flaps are retracted, the nose pitches downwards.

That's quite normal when extending and retracting the flaps.
Flap extension raises the amount of lift over the wing. It also increases the drag which results in slowing of speed and the increase of lift reduces your stall speed.

hey wace...
the solution is rather simple...
simply lower the flaps gradualy and not in one "shot"...
slow down in the process.....
do the exact opposite for retracting the flaps:
gradualy, while accelerating...

Hi there,
If you are flying the default FS2002 aircraft go to Kneeboard -> reference and you can see the flap extension speed and just increase or decrease your speed when you retract or extend flaps.
P.S you can also download cecklist for the aircraft that is not default in FS2002.

One other thing: trim using Nos. 1 and 7 on the numeric key pad.
