I managed to get it last night, and I got lukky in finding a couple of the carriers that were designed for it. But like every other time I've tried to use it I got confused real fast and the instructions may as well be in chinese. Any help is much appreciated.

What particular problems are you having?

I've only used it a couple of times.  It's not a big priority for me, but you have to:

Install FSUIPC.  It doesn't come with ArrCab.
Start FS, then start Arrestor Cables.
Use one of the canned flights to put you on the carrier.
Follow the directions to taxi to the cable.
Put the parking brake on and rev up the engines.
Press Shift-F9 and you will see he message that the catapult is armed.
Release the parking brake and it will shoot you off the deck.
