skill landing speed of boeing 737 and md 80

who can tell me landing speed of boeing 737-200 and md 83 . when i decent and fly near runway , i give flap down and speed is about 165 kt . still speed is very fast i feel . because i want to make my aircraft in the center of runway . still cannot ajdust properly . when i am near runway , my aircraft is not in runway and land at grass . it is crash . well , who can tell me how to land properly in center of runway and how to maintain height . thanks . paul

Practice practice practice!
For the Boeing 737 try full flaps and a threshold speed of about 140kias. Make sure you're lined up at least 3 nm out or you won't have enough time to correct.
Can't speak for the MD - never flown one!

i think the landing procedure for a MD-80 is almost the same,but a bit faster...about 150 KIAS.

Yeah, more flaps and less speed for the 737, should glide right down!
