My concorde sinks!

Shalom all!
Ever since I have downloaded the concorde it sinks during the touchdown (see image):

(by the way... it's not how I ussually land.... it was just for the pic....)

You could always fit it with floats...!

Seriously; you need to amend the 'contact point' section of your aircraft.cfg file. Here's a copy of the section in my Concorde file, amended from the original FS2000 Concorde file.

If your Concorde is based on the FS2000 flight model, then cutting and pasting this into the equivalent point in the aircraft.cfg file should work fine (back-up the aircraft.cfg file first!) Points 0-3 define the parameters for the undercarriage, and the FOURTH figure (e.g. minus 13.350 on point.0 above) is the vertical distance in feet from the aeroplanes's reference point where the wheels will touch the ground. Alter this figure, and the aeroplane goes up or down.

Question... How does your Concord look before you take off? Are the wheels just below the runway surface?

The reason I ask is that depending on how your realism settings are, FS will simulate landing gear damage if the landing is too hard. You said that it IS NOT how you're landing her.
But, if it's starting out OK, and then ends up like in your picture, above, it could be how the program is depicting damage.

Just a thought.

Hey nurseman!
first, I don't land on auto pilot because I have to turn it of 3 miles before the begining of the runway and because it takes away the challenge...
second, the reason that elal doesn't buy the concorde isn't about the budget (probably)- if you check elal's website you will see how much elal makes in one year (neat), I saw a thread about it in some forum (forgot its name- sorry) and the users brought up two main reasons:
1) Maybe elal has some kind of deal with boeing that says elal isn't allowed to buy aircrafts from any other company but boeing (I don't know if you have noticed but elal only has boeings though airbus dominates the market today with great airplanes like 330, 340 and the one and the only 380 - in the future).
2) the other reason was the runway situation.... ben-gurion airport has only two runways that the concorde can land on, in heavy crosswinds these runways aren't active.
