Urgent Help please!!

I'm preparing two panel.cfg files for the Baron panel upload - 1 with the FSD update installed and one without.

Because I have it installed (and spent two days doing it manually) I'm unable to check aspects of the non-FSD updated version.

Could someone with FS2002 Pro without the FSD update installed please do the following and report back a.s.ap.

1) Backup your current panel.cfg file.

2) Copy and paste the panel.cfg text below into a text file and rename it panel.cfg and install it.

Obviously, most of the gaueges won't show and it will look awful, but the thing I need checking should show and is this:

Do both manifold pressure and both engine r.p.m. gauges show up in both the 2D and Virtual cockpit displays, and do they work properly? (i.e. move when you increase the throttle.)

Thanks in advance.

I tested it out and the RPM and manifold gauges work fine in the 2d cockpit and the only problem in the 3D cockpit is right Manifold pressure gauge is missing

Thanks Andrew. I've got the same thing but there's no obvious reason why.

I'm pretty sure it's connected with the FSD gauges which I think you had installed yesterday?

I really need someone who has never had these gauges in to run this test if possible. Having checked my panel.cfg, I can't see any reason why he Right Manifold pressure gauge doesn't show. Time will hopefully tell. :)

I got the same result as Andrew.  Both gauges in 2D, missing right gauge in 3D.

As far as I know I don't have any FSD gauges installed.

FORGET IT!

I found it - missing comma on the end.  ::)

Just please confirm that all manifold  and r.p.m. gauges function correctly that are displaying, and I'll upload it.

Thanks for all your help! :)

It was missing from the end of my [Vcockpit01] gauge description.

See gauge 07 in the section where I originally posted.

WebbPA/Andrew - can you just confirm that engine r.p.m. and manifold pressure gauges are actually functioning in both the 2D and V.C. panels please?

They aren't on mine but that's almost certainly because of the FSD update.

Yes.  I figured out where to put the comma.  The gauges are visible and working in both views.
