fs2002 won't start, freezes at loading elevation

hello,
Since today i cannot start fs2002. It freezes at startup/ loading elevation...
Anyone knows what the problem might be?

Has your computer recently updated? It could be too "advanced" now to be running a 14 year old software.

Has FS 2002 worked OK on your computer in the past?
Is FS 2002 the only game, or program, on your computer which wont start/load?
Do other CD's work OK on your computer?....(you are using the CD to start FS 2002?).

Just a wild guess, but could the date have something to do with it? Have you tried altering system date back to when it last ran OK?

I also note that you have "FS 2004" on your hard drive, and I assume that that is running OK?

FS2002 never needed the CD in the drive to run.
If you have System Restore enabled you could try reverting to a date when it all worked.

Hello,
This morning before heading to work i started fs2002 and it worked! The game started normally without ant problems.
I just started it again and fs2002 starts normally again.
Strange thing that happend, maybe something to do with the changing of the year.
I hope it stays that way,

Just started fs2002 and it still loads normal. I guess i will stay that way.
