PROBLEM SOLVED!!!!!

There is a file missing :-[ :-[ :-[ from the zip called GaugeSound.dll. My partner in this project, Claudio Mussner, mailed me last night with the solution.
So I will upload the file as an addon (to save having to down load the plane again for all of you who have it already).
I apologise unreservedly for any inconvenience caused.

Ah, this does explain it. I already have GaugeSound.dll installed. This why I had no problems. Well done. ;)

Sorry to be a pain, but Just tried it with the new file added in main 2000k file and it kept freezing in load mode! Sure the new file goes in main 2000k file?

Hay Now. ..

I have laoded the x-35b and it flys ok but, the main instument that controls the noxxles and fan doors,
seem to have some other instument over-it. and the nozzle and fan doors, animation does not work at all.

It seem to fly like it think it's in STOL mode (w/... F7) , but no door or nozzle movement..... could someone help me.

I have a clean fs9 installed on win2000 pro.-SP4 os.

thanks

The problem is that the X-35 (A, B & C) were created for FS2002 and FS9 has had some minor changes that affect 2K2 models. In this instance the problem is that FS9 (for some reason) doesn't like the "System_Type" value of 1 in the 4 flap sections of the Aircraft.CFG file. Change these to 0. Also, you might want to add these lines to the "[Gear_Warning_System]" section (don't know if they make any difference but they're flap related so...)

flap_limit_power=0.000000
flap_limit_idle=0.000000

If this doesn't work you could mail the designer (oh that would be me
