If you want to see fireworks go to any major city on new years eve at midnight!!!

Has anyone found tracers in FS? There is an FX file for it but i've never been shot at...

I think you're right. I can't find any likely candidates in my effects folder.

Is there a certain time for the fireworks, or just load it up as Dark on flight settings and go?

Las Vegas is definitely time governed.

I've had a peek there a few times and not seen them. I know they're set to go off at every night at a certain time, I just don't know what it is.

That's something I haven't seen yet. ;D  If I had seen it I would have definately thought that it was a glitch in the computer cause I have such a crap one!!! ::)  Ah well, maybe in the future!

That's the beam out of the Luxor Pyramid if I'm not mistaken and it's on all the time at night. ;)

It wasn't on any building. It was coming straight out of the end of the runway. If someone would tell me how to post a picture I would put one on.

Go to the RAW SCREENSHOT FORUM.

There's instructions on the first page to post shots.

That should be the Luxor "Faroh's Light".
Could it maybe the angle you were looking at it, might have made it look like it was coming out of the runway? If not, maybe there's something wrong with your scenery.

In real life, it's only on for a couple of hours at a time.
Really cool when it is.

It's an add on for the Corsair but you can apply it to just about any aircraft. Latest version adds falling shell casings. Only glitch in the whole thing is a few backward flying tracers when you let up on the "I" button.

If you think thats cool go to Las Vegas NV and set the time and season to july 4 midnight and the fly to the city from the airport and land in the middle  or just circle around town and you'll se fireworks shooting off and you can hear them to.  Happy Flying!! ::)

Yeah, the sound effects were pretty cool for the fireworks.  I'm not sure if they happen at the same spot for everyone, but mine were right in front of the Space Needle thing that has the roller coaster on top.  I just landed the Bell and shut her down to listen better. The motor all but drowns out the POP while running.  All it needed was the Star Spangled Banner playing in the background.  They went on for a long time, but not much of a finale(SP?).
