In game tutorials

I bought this game awhile back because I like flying and I am a big fan of SIM games. I know a little bit about how to fly but not all the technical stuff. Will the end game tutorial get me flying good enough to have fun in this game?

Ok, if you go through all the tutorials, you should have a good time with FS2002.

The most important thing in those tutorials our:

1) Straight and level flight
2) Turning
3) Taking off
4) Landing

For the sim you really dont need to know any thing else.

You dont need to know how to use the GPS, you dopnt need to know ATC you dont need to know wind/which runway to land on.

If your just beginning fly around in the cessna (anyone) and experiment with the different options.

Then go and download your first plane when your comftorable with the cessna. Get something fairly fast, like a F-14.

Fly with that untill your comfortable, then download all the planes you want.

Are there tutorials on how to use all the tracking? I know how to fly the planes already on the game, but the only problem I have is the only way I can get the direction I want to go is using auto pilot.

with a cessna or boeing jet?

there is a difference...mostly the cessna doesn't do that.

In say a 747 be in the 2d panel and youll see at the top  of the lower panel several knobs, one of which is directional.

It can switch between gps and nav.

If you enter a gps cordanate, and flip the little swith below or next to the knob to "gps" if you have the AP on it should automatically start the turn to those cordanates...
