Lost Flight Planner,GPS and Flight map

Postby flightless » Wed Nov 09, 2005 2:27 pm

???I am in a quandry.  I wanted to fly from Iceland to Ireland and I was unable to make a flight plan.  When I went to the flight plan screen, it let me put in the starting airport but not the destination airport.  Afterrseveral tries I decided to fly VFR.  I landed at Dublin Intl. but now I cannot start at Dublin Intl.  I have tried several other combinations and I cannot start at any airport in Europe.  The change location menu will not change from Meigs.  When I was flying VFR to Ireland, the GPS aboard my 777 and the flight map would not give any information other than my plane flying..no outlines of continents, islands, other airports, etc.  If it wasn't for EZ-VFR I still would be searching for the airport!  HELP..I feel like the flying dutchman!!!!!!!

:-/Thanks for your response..I had installed all FScene Volumes by FS Quality prior to flying out of Iceland.  When this started happening, I uninstalled Volume 1 which was the Europe and Africa areas.  It even is occuring in the Africa area as well.  I was able to make flight plans for the US and Australia which are Volumes 2 and 3.  Those longer flight are difficult without the maps.  I have to rely on my Atlas to get me to the cities I want to fly to.  I even removed some of my Add-on scenery for those areas as well.
