Dash8 panel problem

I have a Dash8 Q-400 panel for FS2000 and evertime I pop up another window in the main panel window or even hit a switch, the engines shut off. Plus I cannot get the other engine started.

Is there anyway to correct this??

It is most probably a gauge problem, best to install a 2k2 Dash 8 panel, try http://www.simviation.com/fs2002panels25.htm third from the bottom of the page
