This may fix it.  If not, post a link to the download page.

It's a common problem in aircraft.cfg.  If the radios have standby frequencies the Radios section should look like this:

I see the problem.  You have a COM1 radio but no COM2 that I could find.  NAV1 and NAV2 do not have standby frequencies so you should do the opposite of what I originally said.  (COM1 does not have a standby frequency ehther, so its entry should be set to 0.)

I'm going to leave the COM2 entry in aircraft.cfg because it won't hurt and there may be a COM2 buried in there somewhere that I just didn't see.  You can tune COM1 manually after you move the little master switch in the bottom left of the COM1 radio.

Many thanks for reply again.  More worried about trying your patience than anything, but if you're happy to play ball, here goes!    'Fraid still no joy.  Copied your new radio file direct after first deleting the previous radio file.    Were you actually able to tune the frequencies manually??   I note the little toggle switch on the Com panel and have tried it up and down plus the radio 1 & 2 on the DME readout on the main display.   I've also tried selecting the frequency window with the keyboard N1 and all that followed by =/-.   Again no joy.
If it's worked for you I'm wondering if I've installed the files correctly.   After opening the zip into a temporary folder I copied the Constellation folder into aircraft, the smoke into effects, and copied all the contents of the guage folder into the FS gauges folder.    Again, if you could have another look at this when you have time, I would be grateful!    (I really am Dizzydave now!!!).

You installed the aircraft and the gauges correctly or you wouldn't be able to select the ac from the menu or see it if you were able (somehow) to select it.  If you can see the ac and the panel and hear sound you're ok.

I can tune all of the radios manually using the little buttons.  A + or - should appear when you hover the cursor over the buttons.

The [Radios] section is a part of aircraft.cfg, not a separate file.  There is already a [Radios] section in there so you just need to modify it.  Don't add the modifications to the end of the file.

If you still have trouble email me the aircraft.cfg file.

Many thanks for your patience.  I'll email you the file.   Understand that the radio section is part of the larger file.   I get the plus & minus signs during cursor hover but no movement of frequency.   If I select one of the radios with the keyboard and press 'X' I can manage to jog the frequency counter a little but with no accuracy.

I'll post this here instead of replying to your email in case anyone else wants to give it a try.  This panel works fine on my rig after I made the above changes to aircraft.cfg.  I even disabled FSUIPC but that had no effect - it still works fine.

This panel is not for beginners and the 50's era radios aren't as easy as the Bendix-King radios.  They are pretty small and have a lot of buttons in a small area (I'm still trying to figure out how to control the morse code ident).

I've been looking for a Connie and this one looks just about perfect for my needs, so it certainly wasn't a wasted effort.
