NEED A LITTLE HELP !!!

Hi there, I need a little help here. I want to know what do I have to modify to fix how it looks an aircraft on the ground, I mean, I have an aircraft and the gears over the ground look like under the ground (the half of it) so I want to lift a little bit the aircraft, is that possible? Do I have to modify anything in the aircraft.cfg file? Thx in advance.

Yes, you'll need to modify some values in the [contact_points] section of the aircraft.cfg. The first three points (0 to 2) define the ground contact points for the undercarriage. Count along to the 4th value in each of these, and you will see a negative value, e.g. -7.40. Increasing this negative number (e.g. to -7.70) will drop the plane further into the ground, raising it (e.g. to -7.20) will raise it. Adjust the numbers until the plane is where you need it. You 'll also need to adjust the static_cg_height figure to match what you've done with the contact points.

Don't forget to make a backup of the .cfg file first!

It's a question of whether is's more less or less more, 'cos if it's less more then that's less than more less. More or less.

well im a bit a newbie BUT,i have a thing called 'aircraft editor' in the 2K2 pro so try that ,it seems to have a lot of values in the variables ie; CG and a few others.

True, Elstretchie, but in the case of the aircraft.cfg file (or any FS .cfg file), most find editing directly in Notepad to be easier/quicker.
