Where do i get Photorealistic Textures from?

Postby sidddesai » Wed Mar 02, 2005 9:45 pm

Ok guys/girls?
I've been amazed by the photorealistic textures that Ricky Sharma used on all his Air-India Aircrafts. I was just wondering where he got them from. Because i've been working on my own Air-India aircraft for (personal use only) so please if you could help me finding these textures. my e-mail is desaisiddhu@hotmail.com or an alternative e-mail is sidddesai@gmail.com

                                                Thanks a load guys

well, one place to start is with the terrain mesh. the updated "general Idea" of earth. Place to get: SimV, calles SRTM Terrain Mesh. mind ouy it's 8gb (more than 3x what FS2k2 is)

t's not only for FS9.

also, check the scenery downloads page for FS2k2. people do advanced versions of cities, so you can get them there.

and finally, got cash, get the realistic top notch textures from payware sites. they sometimes say it's worth the money.
