hang ups

Hello fellow simmers, captjim here again,

Here is a frustrating little problem.  It occures in fs2002 basic and Pro edition as well as in fs9.  I get within 15 to 20 miles from the airports and the program hangs up.  I do all the things like, defrag, maintain the computer, etc.  The only way to get out of the program is to re-boot.  I have also uninstalled and re-installed the program.  The hang ups are not consistant, but just enough to be unpleasant (not exactly what I wanted to say).  Hope someone (Hagar??) can help.  thanks again,

Captjim

When starting out with FS2002 (reg edition) I had a similar problem.  Turned out to be the drivers for the video card - upon downloading updates, everything worked well.

Ah...check out the website for the manufacturer - they ought to have their most recent drivers listed in a fairly conspicuous manner...have only done this once but assuming it's the same deal for any make/brand.
