Hot key for the Radio Stack window...?

Postby Fozzer » Thu Sep 02, 2004 12:49 pm

Hi all...!

Does anyone know if there is a keyboard "hot-key" to display/hide the radio stack window.
At the moment, in some of my aircraft, I have to fumble around for the mouse, to locate and click the "Radio Icon", (somewhere!), on the panel to dial up a frequency at the last minute when I am busy trimming the aircraft for a landing... :o...!
I've checked all the "Key Assignments", but it doesn't appear to be there... :'(...!

Hi Foz. Shift + 2, 3, 4 etc. toggles the pop-up windows. Shift + 2 brings up the radio stack on the default C182. This might vary depending on the panel.

As for question 2. Sorry, AIR files have always been a complete mystery to me. ???

Hi Doug... 8)...!

...you are a little darlin' Mate... ;D...!

Shift + 2 does indeed bring up my Radio Shack window. So no longer do I have to plough into the ground whilst fumbling around with my mouse in desperation trying to locate my Radio Shack to tell ATC that I acknowledge their last "clearance to land" message...just before I die...!
LOL...LOL...LOL...!

Cheers Doug... ;D...!

Paul...just need to do a Mag Check now... ;)...!

It can vary between panels, and if it does, you can always edit them ;)

Hi Fozzz! Its me again. I think Andrew means the Shift +.... which is easily done with CFG Edit (what do yuo mean you haven't got it - you MUST have it somwhere!) or more lengthily with good ole notepad...  ;D
I have noticed the mag drop before and yes, it is a right @R$E. But I haven't found (Or looked for) a way round it. Soz.

If you switch both magneto's to "off" you will notice a huge drop in revs. ;D
