'Importing' virtual cockpits?

Postby chinookie » Mon Jun 21, 2004 6:52 am

Just a quick question:

Is there any way you can import a virtual cockpit into another aircraft from an existing one on your system, in the same way that you can import panels, guages and sounds from other aircraft?

I'm asking because I've recently downloaded one of the amazing MelJets (the 747 with Virgin livery), and it's awesome except for one thing - no virtual cockpit.  :'(

I know there's a virtual cockpit pencilled in for release for this aircraft late this year, but in the mean time, is there any way I can 're-use' one of my existing ones? I actually like the Boeing 777 cockpits included as standard in FS2002 - any way I can import it?

And if not, can you recommend another Jumbo to download which does have a good VC?

Thank you very much. :)

Quick answer is No. The DVC is part of the visual model & cannot be transferred from one aircraft to another.

Sorry. I'm not interested in heavies. It might be best to wait for the MelJet update.
