missing gauges

Postby Salcidomd » Tue Jun 01, 2004 2:35 am

Hello all! I am having a little problem. I am missing allot of gauges and  need to know where I can find them. I tried fsgauges.com but most of the gauges I needed I could not download cause they were made by Microsoft and it said to reinstall my sim but they are gauges that did not come with the sim the biggest one is the king air gauges  and the bendix gauges  where can I get them any help please.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

If you used a gauge cleaner program it more than likely deleted the cab files. These programs are notouris for that. Get rid of the program and do not use any gauge cleaning program.
All of the default aircraft and gauges can be found on the first cd under the file gameone.cab
Unzip this file to a dummy folder NOT FS2004 folder.
once the file has been unzipped just open the file got to the gauges folder and move the entire contents over to FS2004 and over write. Do not move the gauge folder or you will loose any 3rd party gauge you might have.
Just move the contents. 8)

These are gauges included in the professional edition of FS2002 and will not be there if you are using FS2002 standard. there is no way of getting them unless you buy professional edition or someone sends them to you (but this is illegal as far as I know)
