Need some help please Anyone help?

Postby mikeblk » Sat Jan 31, 2004 1:12 pm

Need some help, have just started using flight sim 2002 and have managed to download Airbus A320 and embraer jet.

But the problem is when i go into the cockpit view the Airbus had the B737 controls, and the Embraer has cesnna controls.

Can anyone give me any advice on how to resolve this please thanks guys.

Mikeblk,
The panels are aliased to default aircraft. There are plent of good panels in the panel download area for both these aircraft....also, lots of good advice for installing them in the Help area....have fun!

Installing new panels is easy.  Mostly, you just need to drop the new panel files into the panel folder in the aircraft's main folder, overwriting files when asked.  If there are any gauges included (*.gau) then drop those into the gauges folder in your main FS folder.  DO NOT OVERWRITE GAUGES IF PROMPTED!  This is extremely important, as there could be some problems that arise.

Terry and EB are both right.  There is a nice tutorial that will explain everything in more detail http://www.simviation.com/paninstall.htm

(PS - Definitely DO NOT overwrite gauge files.)

Since the first plane you downloaded was an A320 I suppose you like the Airbus. So all you need is a good panel.

I don't know the exact URL address for his site but if you go into google and search for:

Eric Marciano Airbus

... youll find the most relistic freeware panel for A320.
