Problem with Setup: Sound.CAB

Postby birddgog » Sat Mar 06, 2004 9:03 pm

I'm having problems installing flight sim 2002. A box pops up and states that there is a problem with Sound.CAB or I do not have enough memory. Believe me, I have enough memory. Anyone help? Yes, this is an original MSFS02 CD(s).

Thanks,

Hi Birddgog,

If you haven't got it solved yet......

Could you post your system specs including your OS and graphics adapter's driver version, and quote the error message, including any number codes, or 'Details' if available in the error message.

Know i've seen this problem posted before, just cant recall the solution(s) ???.. The above inf will help in searching knowledge bases for solutions..

Another option would be to contact MS customer support (they do have answeres sometimes). You'll need the above info for that too.

Cheers,
Dave

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
