Scenery.dat??

How important is a Scenery.dat file in an add on? What does this file actualy do? ???

.dat  is usually associated with data so I would say pretty important.

Scenery.dat files should not be included with new scenery as they are part of the database on the author's own system. This shouldn't cause problems as the DAT files will be created/updated on your own system when you activate the scenery.
