My primary sites are SimV, www.flightsim.com and www.avsim.com.  I will occasionally use others, when I can't find what I'm looking for elsewhere.  But if I were you, I would stay away from a site called FSPlanet.  The webmaster is a thief, as many on this site will attest to . . .

Yep, stay away from that one.  (In fact, EB...take the link out so others don't go there out of sheer curiosity!  lol)

I stick with SimV and AVSIM.com....two of the best, and easiest to get onto.
Great edit, Bob.

Google it.

There are as well some groups of people who work and create addons for free and then they put them on their site for us to download.

A very good group is the Project Open Sky (www.projectopensky.com) who have already created and made available a number of airplanes. They are many (as you could find in any of the previously mentioned sites) but they are very good.

Also, if you want to add realistic traffic in your FS try the Project AI (www.projectai.com) who have done (and are doing) a very good job creating easily installable packages of real life airlines along with their airplanes and flights plans in your FS.
