No instruments in instrument panel

Postby alansheppard » Sat Oct 25, 2003 5:26 am

I have downloaded Mike Stone's Beechcraft b1900d using the procedure that I always use. Everything seems to be fine; it flies lovely, all the moving parts work, BUT there are no instruments or switches in the instument panel. I believe I have satisfied myself that all the files that came with the download have been correctly installed, but now I have doubts. Any advice would be much appreciated. I do not want to give up on this as these are five lovely models as Mike Stone's always are.

Alan are you running Pro or standard 2k2?
Also when you unzipped the gauges folder how did you install everything in the FS2002/gauges folder?

Ozzy, FS2K2 standard.
Clicked on gauges in the downloads folder to highlight it; clicked on Edit>move to folder, selected gauges in the minipanel, clicked on Move. I then took a random selection of gauge file names and confirmed they were in the gauges folder.

Okay...... Were there any zip files within the gauges folder of the aircraft? And if so how did you copy them across?
Also I think this model might need some instruments from Pro.... You might have to edit the panel.cfg file to sort out some of the missing gauges.
Maybe it would be best if you posted me a screenshot, and I'll talk you through it over the PM system ;)
