Necessary Authorizations..

Postby Scottler » Fri Aug 29, 2003 7:25 pm

Here's an odd question, and I'm not really sure which discussion it belongs in.  Feel free to move it!

We've repainted an aircraft for use with the VA, and obtained the necessary permissions to do so.

But we don't like the panel.

What is the general practice for putting a NEW panel with someone else's airplane?

Would we need permission?  We're not technically changing anything...just leaving something out.

Thanks!
Great edit, Bob.

I maybe wrong here Hyperion, if you had permission to repaint the plane, would that not also mean that you spoke to the person who made the plane.    But if not, is it not possible to contact the maker of the plane and ask them,  say just out of common curtusy (sp)...If it were me and my plane i would have no problem with that at all, but feel happy that you were using my plane ;D      just a thought   8)

Excellent points, Page.  But no, we haven't spoken directly with the aircraft designer.  In the readme, it gave permission to repaint.  Though I like your approach, a lot.  lol  Thanks!

Okay, first you've got to know how to upload files.  This is best explained on the "upload" page.

Once you've uploaded your file (keep it within the size restrictions!), just type this  (replace the ( ) with [ ] )

Put that in your signature on your profile and you're good to go!

Shiny new planes will be available on the new site, Mike.  We've added the suspense just for you. ;)
