Another Possibly Fixed Error?

Postby N4733D » Wed Aug 13, 2003 7:26 pm

I haven't been on in a while, as many of you know, I was wondering if anyone ever saw a way to fix that warning that pops up when you start the game that says something to the effect of Carribean Scenery is missing. I have no add on scenery, and it's always been there, just wondering if there was a patch or something for it....thanks :)

Here ya go Ozzy. I did custom install with everything, so I didn't have to run disk. I have no scenery add ons and it has been there since day 1. Thanks for the help.

On your disc there are a bunch of cab files for different parts of he world. I have had to reinstall several imes for various reasons and found that the install program has a nasty habit of hanging up or skipping cabs if they are a problem. Nothing wrong with the cab - the install prog has issues.

The Carribean was a frequent one. Dunno why. Anyone know how he can install the carib cab?

I do not know how - I just kept doing complete reinstalls till it went in right.
