Right I've just done my first short (very short!!!) flight from London Stanstead to Southend, and although my flying/navigating technique is not what all of you probably do, I managed to get there in one piece (just) I say just because I bounced twice on landing, and came to a stop just past the last turn off point from the runway! lol
What I hope one of you decent chaps out there can tell me is, how do I completely turn off the Engine of my Aircraft? if it is possible of course. ???
I got to my destination by checking the map view and just from guessing I saw the initials Snd with a Circle within several circles, coloured pink, I clicked on this circle and up came Southend Airport. and hooray I was there!, I'm so glad that this Sim is very user friendly as I've tried Combat Flight Sims, many kinds and none to my knowledge have been so easy to get from one destination to another!.....I know they are 2 different genres of games/Sims, but I am glad that I can sit back and enjoy a Sim instead of tearing my hair out, because I don't know where I'm heading! lol
My other question is about something I saw last night, I took off from Heathrow at dusk, and I started from a small gate in a Cessna (I chose the gate to start from, just so as to see what it all looked like) I also fly the Cessna mostly for now as I'm still learning), I digress as I started to Taxi to the runway, I noticed that ATC was very very quiet, even though I have all the PAI Airlines installed, any ideas why it was so quiet? I mean no traffic taxiing or anything!

Also when I had taken off I noticed several blinking lights (moving) but they were all really close to each other, and again no comments from ATC, I carried on moving closer to these Aircraft and the closer I got it still looked the same, all bunched together!
I find that most strange!

Anyone else notice this, anyone else that is who also has PAI installed, sometimes there's no end of aircraft moving around and ATC talking and other times hardly anything, and I've had this at Heathrow!!! is it that the PAI is random in its behaviour?
Cheers
Eyelevel ;)
