how to disable default AI traffic

Postby Patrick Brown » Mon Jul 07, 2003 1:15 pm

Hoping for some help!  .....Now that I have downloaded project AI traffic, I would like to disable the default AI traffic. (ie. Airwave, pacifica, soar etc.), as they are taking up precious "gate space" which could be used for "real life" AI traffic.  Can anyone help?   ???

Thanks, Patrick

Yes, Patrick. The best thing to do in Traffic Tools is too remove the listings from the aircraft file and then compile the traffic.bgl file. That worked for me.

You can find traffic tools from this site under utilities.

WOW!...so quick a response...thanks!  ...I do have the TT tools but don't know how to do what you said.  I removed the b737-400 folder from the aircraft folder but all that happened is the planes still fly but without skin.  However, I did get rid of the MD80's by removing the folder from the aircraft folder.

If you have the time and it isn't too much to explain would love to know.

Thanks again, Patrick

I believe PAI has a "remove default" aircraft link for that very purpose. should be pretty simple to use it.
