Dx9 issues

Postby slimcooper » Mon Jun 30, 2003 5:57 pm

Hi, remember back when cfs3 came out? Those of us that installed it couldnt play on the zone anymore until DirectX9.0 came out. Well it was in beta version first and I DLed it and have had no problems, till now. Now when I play fs2k2 I get the dxdiag screen pop up and it says some files are beta versions and to reinstall dx9.  Well I have, 6 times! But I still get the saame messages and is causing game to crash. I have XP hame so uninstalling is not an option according to M$. I dont even know who makes dx9, or dx9.0a as I now have. Any help in any way would be appreciated.

You can just use the rollback feature in XP to get rid of your DX.Though you probably won't want to do that if you installed it a while ago because you'll lose anything you've installed since then.
