"Mushy" Thrust Reversers

I remember seeing a post on this issue, but I can't find it. Is there a way to adjust thrust reversers through FSUIPC. I have adjusted the air.cfg file with AirEd, but can't seem to get the trust reversers to stop coming in and out during a landing. They should be steady and not "mushy".
 Any help on this would be appreciated.
