::)I guess Im not alone out there with these troubles. How much free space on HD is recomended? I have a 20gb with about 30%still free,is that to full?,and how can M$ expect customer satisfaction when their programs only run on high end machines-or is that the GOTCHYA! :o

M$ probably owns stock in Dell, Gateway and other hardware manufacturers.   ;) That's been the delemma since the early days of computers. Software manufacturers write software to take full advantage of the state of the art hardware technology and consumers are left playing catch up. The first flight simulator I ever saw came on a single 750K floppy disk. Imagine how many of those it would take for FS2002 or even ACOF.

Thanks  OZZY72 ;D  I think I found the problem, or at least a temporary fix, we'll have to see.  I removed the Nvidia 40.xx drivers and reinstalled the older ones from my Nvidia software disk, after I found it and dusted it off.  Once I reconfigured my entire system again the game works sweet, even at high settings loaded with AI.  My rates do drop a bit flying into KJFK or KATL, etc.  at rush hour, but not nearly as much as before.  I appreciate the help.  Another help could have been defrag and scan disk, I did those too just for good measure.  Not too pleased that the newer drivers would do detriment to the card like that, I will have to keep watching their website for any updates.
