Help on changing default airport

Postby Neil » Tue May 06, 2003 10:53 am

Can anyone offer help on changing the default airport (to something other than Meigs) and time of day? When starting FS2002, it always seems to choose Night time and I have to then change it to day time which is annoying.

Ok Neil, Fire up your FS2002
If you are in full screen the push Alt to see the top tool bar
Go to OPTIONS, from that menu click on SETTINGS then GENERAL. On this menu in the box  called TIME you have a choice of system time or flight time. System time will set you FS clock to the same time as you computer time. Flight time will open you up to the last time of day your flight sim was at when you last left it.

Now for the default flight.
Go to flights...them select a flight.
from that list choose a flight that you want to start up with everytime you fire up FS2002. I use "my saved flights" in the catagory and previous flights under pick a flight. Just put a check in the box that says make default.

Happy flying
