Virtual Cockpits

Postby jasonb. » Sun May 04, 2003 4:15 pm

I only fly aircraft with virtual cockpits and I'm bored of the 777's and 747's etc; I'm looking for some old L1011's or MD-11's or DC 9's with virtual cockpits ( any old airliner with steam guages instead of those glass cockpits). If you know of any please notify me. Thanks.

The DC-9 Iron Knuckles doesn't have a 3-D cockpit per se (I believe), but if you like vintage, no-nonsense, seat-of-your-pants flying with steam gauges (and a great overhead panel), this is for you. But it's payware.

There is a few L1011's at avsim.com.  There maybe some here if you do a search for it.  I haven't checked at SimV.  No VC though.  I have not seen a really good flight model of an L1011, DC10, or MD11 with a VC.  There are some terrific models out there though....

The DC-9 is cool by Flight1.com.  It does have a VC.  I own it and it is terrific!
