CL-215

Postby Britney » Wed Apr 02, 2003 10:42 pm

I have two versions of the CL-215, the land and the float.

The land versions landing gear doesn't work, and the float version sinks making both of them useless !

Can someone repair these for me and post them ?

Also the Grumman Albatross "Corona" has a flight problem, if the speed goes past 165 kts. the plane goes crazy and is NOT recoverable unless I change to a different aircraft before the crash !

Thanks

Hi Britney, long time no see :)
Right the floatplane problem is probably an import one, go to flightsim.com (I'm v.v.v.v.sorry Pete, but we ain't got this file.... ouch arrggh noooooo!)
Look for a file called float02.zip by Mick Morrissey. This should help you fix that.
As for the wheels, I've no idea, I haven't seen this model personally. When you say they're not working do you mean not retracting? Or are you sinking into the ground?
With the Albatross, what is happening? Is the picture vibrating and bouncing and the controls not responding properly? If yes, then you are pushing it beyond its limits. Again I haven't used this plane, but if you post a bit more info. I'll try and help.

Wow! Now we have 2 women floating around the forums but I haven't read a post by Stormy in quite awhile. Good news for flight simulation! It just keeps growing!

Stormy was in the other day (she normally lurks in the jokes forum), but she is currently addicted to some racing game or other.

I always search here first, and then I'll only mention the name of another site if they have the cure to someones problem. I'm pretty straight like that, and besides Pete wouldn't let us upload things without the publishers permission (unlike certain sites we could mention!), so sometimes we have to send people elsewhere, even if it is no_nodes_available.com for them to get their solutions. :(
