Multiplayer Doubles (2)

ozzy, fstipster,etc

Thanks to you chaps for your previous answers to this query. We have both d/loaded the same textures and aircraft, both have altered the send receive aircraft sections in the cfg's etc, and multplayer section, but with only one exception we still see duplicate aircraft of each other's. The exception was I was in a British European 146 he was in a Bristol Britannia ??? ??? Even when we both use the same aircraft , the other aircraft props are idle, or the wheels are missing. When I had CFS I am sure I had seen screenshots of Lancs and Hurrie escorts in Multiplayer mode. It is acceptable at times, But as I have a VC10 tanker with refuelling pipes, it would be nice to refuel Tornado's etc.
Any other ideas MORE than welcome. Any thing is worth a try.
Regards, Tony (terbert) and thanks for your time. :) :)

I've seen something similar on my friends machine. Are you going through a router to connect to the internet? This often causes problems.
The solution is v. simple, get on the ramp with everything turning and burning, and then join the session, and likewise for your friend. For some odd reason this cures it for that flight! However if you crash, then quit out of fS2k2 and restart it, then get on the ramp and join the session. If you try starting a second flight without restarting FS2k2, the problem re-appears. No-one knows why! Not even M$ ::)

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!
